I’m Tara Caruso, and I live in Sydney Australia… for now! I come from country Victoria and moved to Sydney in hopes of developing into a great animator. I am a very animated, cooky person, and I love observing people… especially on the train ride in every day. I drew from a very young age and always knew I wanted to tell a story thought imagery. I would write many short stories and imagine them coming to life in moving picture in my head. I started making short films in an old film making software tool for kids called 3D Movie Maker. I never really thought that I could make a living out of this though. I was going to originally study graphic design in college but through a twist of fate I actually didn’t make it into any of the courses I wanted. After spending a year doing a certificate course I soon realized how dull I found designing logos, and really enjoyed my life drawing class. By accident I came across an advert in a magazine for an animation course and since then I never looked back.

I love my job I’ve been working on various tv shows for the last four years. I want to expand myself though and surround myself with talent that puts me to shame. I crave collaborating with my peers and working with them to get the best out of my work. Breaking into film work and moving to the states is my ultimate goal.
